Laverne...Ronaye! What a shock. And you found a beautiful home on the island and you were always so worried about your cat. I was thinking the past few days that we had not heard about another published poetry book. Music, voice, songwriting, poems. A master in these. You were the anchor and expert of our high school quartet, the Deltones...You, Patti, Darla and I. Thank you. Fly away like an angel...and make a place for us.

May she rest in peace! Quite a surprise to open my computer today and learn of Ronaye's passing.  She lived in one of the more beautiful parts of BC!  From what I have recently learned Ronaye lived a rich life enjoying the arts.  She will be missed, but her rich background and memory will live on.

I meant to write this soon after Ronaye Hudyma passed. I found it very hard. She was so full of life, so talented and henroost recognition but not to this height that she deserved. She brushed fame. I find her poems so enlightening and beautiful.
